SAP MDM/MDG Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDM / SAP MDG Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP MDG implementation, data modeling, data governance, and integrations , and should be capable of working closely with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions for master data domains such as Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into MDG data models and workflows
• Configure MDG Data Models, UI Modeling, Change Request Types, Workflows, and Validations
• Implement Data Governance frameworks , approval processes, and data quality rules
• Perform data replication and integration using DRF (Data Replication Framework) , ALE/IDoc, RFC, and Web Services
• Support MDG consolidation, central governance, and mass processing scenarios
• Collaborate with ABAP and integration teams for enhancements and custom developments
• Provide support during UAT, Go-Live, and Post-Go-Live phases
• Prepare functional specifications and technical documentation
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with business standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SAP MDM / SAP MDG
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG configuration and implementation
• Experience with MDG Data Models, CR Types, Workflows, UI Configuration
• Good understanding of Master Data Governance concepts and best practices
• Experience in DRF, IDocs, and SAP integrations
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Master Data architecture
• Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end SAP MDG implementations
• Exposure to MDG-F, MDG-M, MDG-BP
• SAP MDG Certification is an added advantage
• Experience in data migration and data cleansing projects
