Sap Materials Management Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) professional to implement, support, and enhance SAP MM solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end procurement, inventory management, and integration with other SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, and PP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation & Configuration
• Configure and customize SAP MM modules including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master, and Valuation.
• Conduct full-cycle SAP MM implementation (AS-IS, TO-BE, Blueprints, Testing, Go-Live, Post Go-Live Support).
• Define organizational structure, master data, and business processes for materials management.
• Procurement & Inventory Management
• Manage procurement processes: purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice verification.
• Oversee inventory management, material movements, and stock transfers.
• Implement and manage automatic account determination and material valuation.
• Integration
• Collaborate with other module teams (FI/CO, SD, PP, WM, QM) to ensure seamless business process integration.
• Support inter-module processes like third-party procurement, subcontracting, and consignment.
• Support & Optimization
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for SAP MM-related issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
• Documentation & Training
• Develop and maintain user manuals, training documents, and configuration guides.
• Train key users and end users on SAP MM functionalities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 25 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and support.
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and inventory management .
• Experience with integration to FI/CO, SD, and PP modules.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• SAP certification in MM is a plus.
