JOB DESCRIPTION:

• 5-10 years of experience in SAP with a specific focus on data migration projects.
• Expertise in configuring and utilizing data migration tools such as SAP LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services (BODS), or third party ETL tools.
• Strong understanding of SAP data structures and tables across various SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO, HR, PP, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in SAP data migration and data management processes.
• Ability to lead the end-to-end data migration process from legacy systems to SAP environments, including planning, strategy, extraction, transformation, validation, and loading (ETL).
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data migration requirements, source data structures, and target SAP systems (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Strong knowledge of data quality management and data governance principles.
• Expertise in master data management (MDM) and transactional data migration.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams to develop and execute detailed data migration plans.
• Excellent understanding of ABAP for writing custom programs for data extraction, validation, and loading (if required).
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, extraction, and transformation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues during migration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams through the migration process.
• SAP certification in data migration, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP BODS is a plus.
