Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP S/4 Embedded Analytics Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing ABAP CDS Views and Fiori Apps. They will be responsible for solving technical and complex problems on multiple projects and will act as a technical lead. As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop ABAP CDS Views to support Fiori APP Reports and Extractors for ETL processes.

- Design and build enhancements/extensions, create plans for Integration and Unit testing.

- Work on projects executed across geographies and cultures.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Expected to be an SME.

- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Extensive experience in developing S4HANA ABAP CDS Views.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori Apps, particularly Analytic apps

- Proficiency in extending standard Fiori Analytic apps and CDS Views

- Excellent communication skills and comfortable working directly with customers.

- Experience in requirement gathering, technical analysis, and problem-solving.

- Ability to work as a member of a global team with a high degree of working hour flexibility.

- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA and SAP Native HANA SQL Modeling & Development.

- Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques.

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Additional Information:

- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

- Familiarity with SAP Datasphere and SAP BTP applications.

- SAP Certified Associate - SAP Generative AI Developer (preferred).

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

- The candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA and/or SAP Native HANA SQL Modeling & Development.

Must Have:

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

- Experience in requirement gathering, technical analysis, and problem-solving.

- Strong understanding of SAP based data sources (S/4 HANA, BW, HANA, etc.)

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SAC reporting and dashboards

- Preferred to be SAP Certified

- Preferred with a prior background of any SAP warehousing tools (SAP BW, SAP HANA) or visualization tools (SAP BO)
