SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• API Development: Design, build, and expose custom OData Services (via SEGW) to allow external applications to read real-time customer data and write actions (e.g., Promise-to-Pay, Dispute Status) back into SAP.
• Dunning Automation: Configure and enhance SAP Dunning Runs (F150); develop dynamic, logic-driven email and PDF templates using SAP SmartForms or Adobe Forms.
• Custom Logic Implementation: Implement BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancements to handle "Smart Exclusions" (e.g., filtering specific GL indicators or customers from dunning runs based on real-time flags).
• Performance Optimization: Optimize complex SQL queries and ABAP code to ensure API calls respond in <200ms, guaranteeing a seamless user experience for the Collections team.
• Integration Testing: Support end-to-end testing with the frontend development team and troubleshoot data sync issues between SAP and external platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have):

• 6-8 years of hands-on SAP Technical experience.
• Strong core ABAP skills (OO-ABAP, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework).
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining SAP Gateway / OData services.
• Expertise in SAP Output Management (SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and Email generation logic).
• Deep familiarity with FI-AR / FI-CA database tables (e.g., BSEG, BSID, DFKKOP, KNA1).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience integrating SAP with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of CDS Views and HANA-specific performance optimization techniques.
• Prior experience in a Collections or Financial Operations domain.
