We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager who understands the reseller/channel sales landscape and can help us grow our MariaDB distribution network across India. If you have worked closely with MySQL resellers or channel partners, this role is tailor-made for you!

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow Dattax IT's MariaDB reseller and channel partner network across India

Onboard, enable, and manage MySQL/database resellers to transition to or add MariaDB

Drive revenue through channel partners by setting targets, providing support, and tracking performance

Identify and recruit new reseller partners from the MySQL ecosystem and broader IT channel

Conduct MariaDB product training, demos, and enablement sessions for reseller teams

Build and maintain strong relationships with key reseller accounts and decision-makers

Collaborate with MariaDB's global/regional teams to align on partner programs and promotions

Develop go-to-market strategies for expanding MariaDB's footprint across India

Track channel KPIs, pipeline health, and report sales performance to leadership

What We're Looking For

47 years of experience in technology sales, preferably in database or software distribution

Strong experience working with reseller networks, channel partners, or VAR ecosystems

Prior experience in the MySQL reseller/channel partner network is HIGHLY valued

Existing relationships with MySQL or open-source database resellers in India is a big plus

Solid understanding of relational/open-source databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL)

Proven track record of building and scaling channel/partner sales programs

Excellent communication, training, and partner enablement skills

Strategic thinker with ability to manage multiple partners and geographies

Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate

Nice to Have

Experience at a MySQL reseller, distributor, or VAD (Value-Added Distributor)

Familiarity with database licensing models and open-source commercial support offerings

Network of IT resellers or system integrators across Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, or Hyderabad

Understanding of cloud-hosted database solutions (AWS RDS, GCP CloudSQL, Azure Database)

Experience working with or for Oracle MySQL, Percona, or MariaDB ecosystem partners
