After8 is a curated experiential platform that builds intentional rooms for founders, operators, and leaders. Our formats include Strangers Dinner, Business Coaching, Lectures on Tap, and Founders Circle each designed to create structured, high-trust environments for meaningful dialogue.
Founders Circle is our most elevated offering: a quarterly, invitation-only capital roundtable limited to 10 seats per edition. It is closed-door, structured, and built for revenue-generating founders ready for real financial conversation.
The Role
We are hiring our first Sales Executive a foundational hire who will shape how After8 sells to the market. You will own the full sales process: identifying the right founders, building relationships, and converting them into participants across our event formats.
This is not an account management role. It is a hunting and relationship-building role. You will work directly with the founder to craft the sales approach and refine it as we grow.
What You Will Do
Identify and qualify founders, operators, professionals, and CXOs who are a strong fit for After8's event formats.
Drive ticket sales across all After8 formats: Strangers Dinner, Curated Strangers Dinner, Lectures on Tap, Business Coaching sessions, and Founders Circle understanding the distinct value proposition of each.
Own outbound outreach across LinkedIn, email, and direct networks to generate qualified interest for each event edition.
Conduct discovery conversations to assess fit and match prospective attendees to the right format the right room matters as much as the sale.
Manage the end-to-end sales process from first contact to confirmed seat across all event types.
Coordinate with the founder ahead of each edition to align on target profiles, seat availability, and outreach strategy per format.
Maintain a clean pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and market feedback across all active formats.
Represent After8's brand with the discretion and polish the product demands.
Contribute to shaping the sales playbook this is a zero-to-one environment.
Who You Are
24 years of B2B or high-consideration sales experience, ideally selling to founders, CXOs, or senior decision-makers.
Comfortable selling a premium, intangible product you understand that trust and positioning matter more than discounts.
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal. You can hold your own in a room with a serious founder.
Self-directed and resourceful. You do not wait to be told what to do you identify the next move and make it.
Deeply curious about business, capital, and the founder ecosystem. After8 is not just a job for you; it is a world you want to be inside.
Discreet and professional. Many of our participants share sensitive financial information. Confidentiality is non-negotiable.
Bonus If You Have
An existing network within the Mumbai startup or business ecosystem.
Experience selling event-based, membership, or community products.
Exposure to venture capital, private equity, or founder communities.
Compensation
Fixed salary commensurate with experience, plus a performance-based commission structure tied to confirmed seats and event revenue. Specific numbers will be discussed during the interview process.
