Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ecommerce Retoucher to join our growing production team in our Bangalore office. This role is critical in delivering high volume, commercially accurate product imagery for ecommerce platforms across multiple brands and categories.

The Retoucher will be responsible for ensuring consistent quality, fast turnaround times, and adherence to brand and technical standards. This is a production focused role requiring precision, efficiency, and strong process discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Retouch high volume ecommerce imagery across fashion and general merchandise categories
• Perform colour correction, background clean up, shape consistency, shadow work, and garment refinement
• Ensure accurate representation of fabric texture, colour, fit and proportion
• Follow brand specific retouch guidelines and QA standards
• Maintain daily output targets in line with agreed productivity benchmarks
• Flag image quality issues, shoot errors or inconsistencies early in the workflow
• Support AI assisted image workflows where applicable

Quality, Efficiency & Process

• Deliver retouched assets within agreed turnaround times
• Maintain strict version control and file naming conventions
• Follow structured upload and delivery processes to avoid asset loss
• Track daily productivity and ensure variance between shoot and delivery is minimised
• Reduce rejection rates through first time right execution
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Studio, Styling, Photography and Production teams
• Align with QA and Brand teams on image standards
• Communicate proactively on capacity constraints or risks
• Escalate blockers early to ensure deadlines are met

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2 to 5 years' experience in ecommerce retouching
• Strong Adobe Photoshop skills with advanced layer and masking techniques
• Experience working in high volume production environments
• Strong understanding of garment structure, fabric behaviour and commercial fashion standards
• Detail oriented with strong time management skills
• Comfortable working with structured workflows and productivity targets
• Experience supporting AI or automated image workflows is a plus
