Responsibilities:
- Understand and document the business need and ensure in context of building BI solutions.
- Identify and implement data acquisition programs as part of data discovery process.
- Facilitate the design and development of the most appropriate model to meet and exceed the requirement.
- Build visualizations that tell a compelling story and turn data into actionable insights.
- Understand the current state BI landscape and facilitate define a future state that brings innovation and fresh thinking while addressing the current and future needs of the business
- for our people to deliver the best outcomes for our clients within the APAC region
- Create inspiration around the power of technology and data within the PDS business
- Connect with the wider JLL community on technology and innovation to align and share ideas
- Be well versed in the latest BI trends to ensure that JLL remains at the forefront of the industry by continuing innovating and improving.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the data space
- Minimum of 3 years’ data engineer experience leading Digital Data transformation programmed
- Involvement in or delivery of a successful multi regional digital data initiative.
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
- Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong analytic skills related to working with structure and unstructured datasets.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
- A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.
- Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big data’ data stores.
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with Microsoft cloud services: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Search, Purview
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with version and source control (Git) and Azure DevOps.
- Experience in APIs and API Management
