Regulatory Advisor

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Advisor with strong expertise in prudential and market regulations to support advisory engagements for leading banking and financial services clients. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of UK and European regulatory frameworks and hands-on experience interpreting, implementing, and advising on regulatory change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide regulatory advisory support on PRA, MiFID II, Basel III/IV, and FRTB frameworks.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable business and compliance solutions.
• Support impact assessments, gap analysis, and regulatory implementation projects.
• Engage with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Front Office teams.
• Assist in policy drafting, regulatory documentation, and governance framework enhancements.
• Monitor ongoing regulatory developments and advise on upcoming changes.

Key Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in regulatory advisory within banking or consulting.
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) requirements
• MiFID II regulatory framework
• Basel III/IV capital regulations
• Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB)
• Experience working with investment banks, global banks, or financial institutions.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Prior experience in regulatory change or transformation programs is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CA / MBA / FRM / CFA or relevant professional certification.
• Consulting background will be an added advantage.
