JOB PURPOSE
The Regional EHS Digital Systems Specialist will provide Environmental, Health and Safety support through digital systems to all operations and functions within the region to support the development of a leading EHS culture. The role will support manufacturing sites, technology centres and offices to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and conformance with the JM EHS management system. He will utilize digital systems to track compliance, streamline reporting, and improve workplace safety across JM sites. He will provide site EHS representatives across the region with guidance and advice on EHS initiatives and improvement programmes, whilst ensuring effective reports are generated to identify trends and gaps.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identification and implementation of digital tools to assist in the process for governance, reporting and assurance activities within EHS.
- Analyse safety data and generate detailed reports to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with safety management software to ensure the continuous operation of the system.
- Coordinate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of digital systems with other business platforms.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on best practices for using digital systems in tracking health and safety data and reporting.
- Using digital tools and techniques to track progress and performance, such as data visualization, performance dashboards, or business intelligence platforms.
- Identify improvement opportunities through effective data analysis utilizing EHS digital systems and Power BI.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and integrate EHS dashboards and reports.
- Support EHS digital systems training program delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Proficient in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, SAI Global, Cority)
- Strong Data analytics - able to process and then communicate data in an engaging way to all audiences. Advanced Excel, Power BI and data analysis tools certification.
- Knowledge of coding or scripting for system automation. API and data communication across different systems.
