Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Real Estate Accountant based in Pune. The Accountant will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting functions , maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with taxation laws. The role requires strong experience with accounting software, particularly Tally ERP , along with a solid understanding of GST, TDS , and other applicable financial regulations in the real estate industry.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciliation.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements and records.
• Handling taxation-related tasks, including GST and TDS compliance.
• Assisting in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting for projects.
• Coordinating with auditors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Supporting management with MIS reports and other financial data as required.

Qualifications

• 25 years of hands-on experience in accounting (real estate industry experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Tally ERP for accounting, invoicing, and compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word); ability to work with spreadsheets and formulas.
• Commerce graduate (B.Com, BBA Finance/Accounts) from a recognized university.
• Additional certifications in accounting/finance will be an advantage.
• Solid understanding of GST and TDS compliance.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
