Role Name: RDP Technical Workflow Specialist – D&A
Desired Experience Range: 4 years to 8 Years
Location of Requirement: Hyderabad
Tech Profile/Essential Skills
• Strong experience in Azure Cloud. (minimum 2 years).
• Strong understanding and able to demonstrate of DevOps tools, Reliability Engineering (RE) and how they are used in integration.
• Strong understanding on build tools (Github, GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory, Concourse, Terraform, Cloudformation.
• Strong understanding of data flow and workflow.
• Knowledge of Python or Java to build automation tools. ITIL (Incident, Change & Problem management.
• Solid English reading/writing capability required.
• Strong communication & articulation skills.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Result-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills and Experience
• Design Methodologies (MVC, Data Access Object). .Net \ Java. Node JS \ React JS.
• Experience in Finance industry and Market Data environment.
Detailed Responsibilities
• Work closely with Frontline support and FLS team to address the Client queries regarding DP Usecases.
• Analyze and build resiliency optimization for DP usecases.
• Work closely with PE\QE Scrum teams and work on DevOps stories.
• Act as a first point of contact for the Frontline specialist team to handle DP usecases and technical queries from clients.
• Review all Changes/Releases on the backend capabilities/Building Blocks and assess impact to the given Solution/Workflow.
• Review Performance of the solution after each major release at the backend (Assuming the metrics will be available on DataDog).
• Work with different Reliability Engineering teams to ensure the resiliency of the usecases.
• Work with Development team closely to deliver service stories as part of DevOps and provide suggestions in ensuring the resiliency of the system.
• Build Proactive monitoring tools for NFR metrics to get Service at a Glance for each of the usecases.
• Ensure the non-functional requirements, e.g. quality, end to end respond time, performance.
• Provide the required documen tations for support teams to troubleshoot or resolve any incidents.
• Adopt the new technologies to overcome any challenged business workflows or requirements.
Candidate must demonstrate 3 areas which are key to the role:
1.Reliability Engineer (RE)/Service Management (Proactive & Reactive Monitoring)
• Stakeholder management.
• Demonstrates Proactive monitoring, analysing & pattern setup.
• Understands KPI’s/SLA’s.
• Work on how to improve Client Service Experience.
• Demonstrates ability to track issues proactively.
2. Performs DevOps Stories (work with other teams (PaaS & SaaS)
• Focus on Reliability.
• Acts as a catalyst for DevOps change.
• Integrates with DevOps teams.
• Initially will focus on 1 or 2 stories but as the team move through the cycle then they will be able to take on more stories.
3.Demonstrates Proactive Monitoring
• Look across the platform as more apps come into scope.
• Ability to look across client issues.
• Identify Service Improvements.
