Role Overview
We are seeking a Quality Lead with Scrum Master experience who can lead and mentor a team of at least 5 QA/engineering members. The ideal candidate brings leadership in QA strategy, Agile delivery, and team management, with working knowledge of .NET/C# to collaborate effectively with development teams building a WPF-based desktop application.
Key Responsibilities
A. Quality Leadership (Primary Focus)
- Lead and mentor a QA/SDET team of 5 or more members, ensuring performance, accountability, and growth.
- Define and own the end-to-end test strategy for desktop applications (functional, regression, performance, reliability, UAT).
- Oversee test planning, execution, reporting, and continuous process optimization.
- Manage defect lifecycle, risk assessment, quality dashboards, and release readiness.
- Review test documentation and ensure full coverage using best QA methodologies.
- Work with DevOps and Engineering to maintain test environments, CI/CD quality gates, and robust release pipelines.
B. Scrum Master Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile events: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives.
- Remove impediments, improve team flow, strengthen delivery predictability.
- Coach the team on Scrum values, backlog refinement, and optimized workflows.
- Track and present Agile metrics: velocity, predictability, cycle time, defect trends.
C. Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of .NET, C#, WPF, MVVM, enabling effective collaboration with development teams.
- Ability to support discussions on design, code quality, and automation feasibility.
- Exposure to desktop automation frameworks (FlaUI, Ranorex, WinAppDriver) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- More than 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering/Software Testing.
- Scrum Master experience, leading Agile teams.
- Experience managing at least 5 team members (QA / Testing Team).
- Strong understanding of QA processes, strategies, test design, defect management, and Agile/Scrum.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working familiarity with C#, .NET, and WPF-based application development.
- Exposure to automation frameworks, CI/CD systems, and desktop test tooling.
- Certifications like CSM/PSM I–II or ISTQB are added advantages.

- Languages/Frameworks: C#, .NET (4.8/6/8), WPF, MVVM
- Automation: FlaUI, WinAppDriver, Ranorex
- Testing: NUnit/xUnit, Moq/NSubstitute, SonarQube
- DevOps: Azure DevOps, Git
