Quality Head (Bus)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-driven Head of Quality to lead and drive quality excellence for Bus manufacturing operations. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing world-class quality systems, driving zero-defect culture, and ensuring customer satisfaction across all manufacturing stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deploy Quality Vision, Strategy and Roadmap for the Bus Plant.
• Lead plant quality operations including Incoming, In-process, Final Inspection and Field Quality.
• Establish and sustain QMS systems aligned with IATF 16949 standards.
• Drive APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans and structured problem-solving (8D).
• Lead supplier quality assurance, audits, and performance management.
• Ensure reduction in PPM, COPQ and improve First Pass Yield.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Lead customer audits, regulatory compliance, and warranty management.
• Build and mentor a high-performance quality team.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical Engineering.
• 2025 years of experience in automotive manufacturing quality leadership.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, 8D methodologies.
• Experience in Bus / Commercial Vehicle manufacturing preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
