Project Role : Quality Engineer (Tester)
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: As a Quality Engineer (Tester), you will enable full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. You will perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Additionally, you will create automation strategy, automated scripts, and support data and environment configuration. Your role will involve participating in code reviews, monitoring, and reporting defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Create automation strategy and develop automated scripts. - Support data and environment configuration. - Participate in code reviews. - Monitor and report defects to support continuous improvement activities. - Perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Experience in Developing and executing test cases based on Business Req Experience in Regression testing, Defects reporting, Experience in applying testing methodologies, principles and processes to ensure quality delivery. Experience in defining and implementing key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. Experience in leading a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle.(For lead roles) Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Functional Test Planning. - Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and ETL processes. - Experience in testing data integration and data transformation processes. - Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries. - Familiarity with data quality and data governance principles. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong active listening, facilitation and presentation skills. Strong knowledge of IT software development life cycle. Strong knowledge of QA testing methodologies, concepts, processes, and documentation. 3.3 + years of relevant experience in Functional Testing and Tools like (JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM). Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases and test data. Carry out testing as per the defined procedures. Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures. Report defects, define severity and priority for each defect. Knowledge on Agile methodology. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
