QA Program Manager

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on QA Program Manager - total 13 to 15 yrs of experience with deep expertise in Data Engineering and ETL testing to lead the quality strategy for our large-scale, complex SaaS cloud-based platform. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a mix of program management, architectural design of QA frameworks, and domain expertise in P&C Insurance.

The ideal candidate will move beyond standard validation to build sophisticated reconciliation engines, custom automation frameworks (Java/Selenium/iceDQ), and performance-optimized regression suites. You will ensure data integrity across multi-stage pipelines involving structured and semi-structured data (Snowflake/Informatica).

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Program Leadership

• Define & Execute Global Test Strategies: Architect the E2E testing roadmap for a complex SaaS platform, ensuring high availability and data accuracy.
• Complex Program Oversight: Lead the QA lifecycle for large-scale cloud migrations and feature releases, balancing manual and automated efforts.
• Team Leadership: Manage and groom virtual and co-located teams; foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

2. Framework Architecture (Automation & Reconciliation)

• Custom Framework Building: Design and implement robust, scalable automation frameworks using Java/Selenium and/or platforms like iceDQ.
• Reconciliation Engine Development: Build end-to-end data reconciliation frameworks to validate data completeness and transformation accuracy between cloud storage (Data Lakes) and databases.
• Performance & Regression: Develop performance optimization logic within the regression suite to handle high-volume cloud data processing and PowerBI reporting.

3. Data Technical Excellence

• Multi-Format Validation: Lead the validation of complex data formats, including JSON, AVRO, and Parquet.
• Advanced Integrity Checks: Implement schema validation, data profiling, and deep-dive integrity checks across every stage of the ETL/ELT pipeline.
• CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly integrate data quality gates into the CI/CD pipeline to support agile delivery in a cloud-native environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Mastery

• Cloud & Data Platforms: Advanced proficiency in Snowflake, Informatica, and cloud storage ecosystems.
• SQL & Programming: Expert-level SQL for complex data interrogation; strong Python or Java skills for automation.
• ETL/ELT Testing: Deep experience in validating data ingestion pipelines, transformation logic, and downstream reporting (PowerBI).
• Framework Knowledge: Proven track record of building/implementing iceDQ, Query Surge, or custom Java-based validation tools.

Domain & Leadership

• P&C Insurance Expertise (Mandatory): Solid understanding of insurance data domains (Policy, Claims, Billing) and regulatory data requirements.
• Program Management: Experience managing "Large and Complex" programs involving multiple stakeholders and third-party vendors.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional people management skills; ability to mentor senior engineers and align virtual teams toward a unified delivery goal.
