Quality Assurance Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers (manual & automation).
• Define QA strategy, test plans, test processes, and quality benchmarks for the product.
• Ensure end-to-end quality across releases in a fast-paced product environment.
• Hands-on involvement in manual testing and automation testing when required.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium with Java .
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Leadership teams .
• Participate in requirement discussions and provide early QA inputs.
• Work directly with Director / CEO / senior stakeholders to align quality goals with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and metrics.
• Utilize AI in testing (e.g., test optimization, test data generation, defect prediction, intelligent test execution) not limited to only test case creation .

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance .
• 3+ years of experience in a QA leadership / lead role .
• Prior experience working on a SaaS-based or product-only company (mandatory).
• Strong experience in Manual Testing (Web applications).
• Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium with Java .
• Experience with test frameworks, CI/CD integration, and version control tools.
• Proven experience in cross-team collaboration with engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• Experience managing QA deliverables across multiple releases.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or approaches is a strong plus.
