We are looking for a highly motivated, customer centric Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) with a deep experience in testing methodologies and automation.
Key job responsibilities
Quality Assurance Engineers at Amazon test cutting edge applications and products at the user level and code level, both manually and with automated tools.
Our QAEs are not pure black box testers, they are able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with Scripting tools and/or user
- level automated tools.
QAEs at Amazon are excellent individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to completion with minimal help.
QAEs would be responsible for understanding the domain and the product in detail and coming up with the test strategy/planning, coming up with the test cases, driving the test case sign
- off processes with the stakeholders, contributing to code level tests, test execution and reporting.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
- Experience in performance, security and privacy testing
- Experience in identifying automation framework for specific needs, writing automation and integration tests, setting up automation infrastructure (ex: Lab).
- Exposure to LLM tools and a drive to put them to use for increasing QA and dev productivity
