Python Developer (Django | APIs | GenAI)

Role: Python Developer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: Long Term

Work Hours: 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: 3 Days a week In-Office - Pune, India

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Django , API integration, and hands-on experience with GenAI (GPT, embeddings, DI) . The ideal candidate has solid SQL skills, strong web development fundamentals, and experience working in fast-paced, client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python & Django
• Integrate complex systems using REST/SOAP/WSDL
• Implement data transformations based on mapping documents
• Work closely with clients to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Integrate AI/GenAI models (e.g., GPT, embeddings) into applications
• Ensure smooth system interoperability across services
• Use Git/ADO and follow SDLC best practices

Required Qualifications

• 47 years Python & Django experience
• 35 years strong SQL experience
• 12 years hands-on GenAI experience (GPT, embeddings, DI)
• Experience with system integrations & API-based architecture
• Knowledge of Git, DevOps, and service-oriented architecture
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience in insurance or other regulated industries
• Certifications in Python or GenAI
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks
