What you’ll do at Ather

• Business partner: As a Transformation Manager you will be working with the CPO, the functional heads, critical stakeholders of the Sourcing function and end users in the Sourcing & Procurement value chain to gather requirements to solve business problems through process definitions, implementing digital solutions, process improvements (automation/lean-six sigma/velocity improvements etc).

You will need to help prepare a business case justifying the need of digitisation, and help prioritize between the various stakeholder requirements.

You will also champion the cause of your stakeholder with the Information Systems (IS) group, the system & digital development team at Ather, ensuring the requirements are well understood and implemented.

• Technology Evangelist: You will also be the evangelist for adoption of tools and digitisation efforts by identifying opportunities where use of technology can make org more efficient.

1. Develop understanding of how most of the tools used by the stakeholders work

2. You will be part of both IS and relevant business swimlanes

3. Responsible for prioritizing tech implementation with the IS PO assessing the cost - benefit and timeliness of implementation

4. Guide the development team to implement the solution as per the product development standards to meet business requirements

5. Participate in resolving bugs/issues pertaining to design, development or integration to support business continuity

• Process champion: You will also act as the process champion helping the stakeholders develop the lean processes to meet their business objectives

1. Help converting the problem statement of the stakeholders into solutions by working with the tech team

2. Participate in early UATs of the solutions on behalf of the stakeholders and work towards ensuring adoption by training, awareness and hand holding post implementation

3. Manage conflict on solutioning, timeline, prioritization

What kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?

• Hands on experience in Sourcing / Procurement Digital Transformation, primarily on Procure-to-pay, Supplier Lifecycle Management, RFQ Management, Contract Lifecycle Management domains, for direct and indirect materials

• Must be proficient in analyzing, creating system specifications, developing scenario test cases and implementing business solutions

• Work with swimlane (delivery team) : Software developers, Technical consultants / Product teams, Tech Architect, QA, Program manager, etc. to deliver long term projects/enhancements/bug fixes

• End to End Business Value Chain Understanding

• Ability to assess the need for a change from problem statements

• Experience in Business Process designing

• Working knowledge on SAP PP & MM module and IT system

• Strong quantitative analytical skills

• Understanding of Agile framework in Software development

What you bring to Ather:

• Bachelors/Masters Degree in a quantitative discipline, e.g. Engineering with 8 - 12 years work experience in Supply Chain consulting, systems development or architect role

• Masters in Business Administration or equivalent from a premier B-school (Desirable)

• Desirable Lean Six Sigma certification and Lean understanding

• Preferred: Experience in Manufacturing Organization
