Job Title:-

Architect / Project Support Architect Museums, Exhibitions & Interiors


Role Summary

The Architect / Project Support Architect will support the execution of museum, exhibition, and interior projects by assisting in vendor coordination, BOQ support, site supervision, and documentation, under the guidance of senior architects and project managers. The role focuses on implementation, coordination, and quality control, ensuring works are executed as per approved design intent and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. BOQ & Cost Support

Assist in preparation and verification of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for interiors, exhibitions, furniture, lighting, and specialized works

Cross-check quantities against approved drawings, specifications, and site conditions

Support in cost estimation, rate analysis, and value engineering exercises

2. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, contractors, and suppliers for technical details, samples, mock-ups, and material submittals

Follow up on deliverables, timelines, and compliance with approved specifications

Assist during procurement stages, including technical clarifications and coordination meetings

3. Site Coordination & Execution Support

Assist in site supervision, installation coordination, and daily execution activities

Verify works on site against approved specifications, BOQs, and quality standards

Track snag lists, punch points, and balance works until closure

4. Quality Control & Compliance

Support quality checks for materials, finishes, workmanship, and installation methods

Ensure compliance with museum-grade detailing, safety norms, and statutory requirements

Report deviations and coordinate corrective actions with vendors and site teams

5. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MoM), action trackers, and coordination notes

Maintain records of approvals, material submittals, site photographs, and progress reports

Assist in preparation of status updates and review presentations

Required Skills & Competencies

Basic understanding of interior works, exhibition fabrication, and construction processes

Familiarity with BOQ structure, quantity take-offs, and rate analysis

Strong coordination and follow-up skills

Ability to work effectively on live sites and fast-track projects

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Architecture

23 years of professional experience in architecture, interiors, exhibitions, or site-based roles
