Water Corporation has partnered with FlexCareers to launch our second external Return to Work Program, with the aim of supporting carers and parents to re-enter the workforce. This role is hired as a part of this program and those who have been on a career break of about 2 years, or more are highly encouraged to apply.

About the role

Working with internal stakeholders to support the delivery of the Remote Services Program, and provide consistent, accurate, appropriate and timely messaging and materials to relevant communities.

What the role will involve:

  • Liaises with Program and Project Manager(s) to identify communication needs relating to the infrastructure and non-infrastructure works programs.
  • Ensures that community corporation CEOs, council members and traditional owner groups are advised of upcoming events and collaborates to minimize issues that may arise.
  • Effectively identifies appropriate stakeholders to escalate issues to and records actions, outcomes and outstanding issues accordingly.
  • Provide targeted content, logistic support, and advice as required to facilitate the delivery of projects, tailored to meet respective communitys needs.
  • Support the delivery of water efficiency and education to respective communities, where appropriate.
  • Builds strong local partnerships with external and internal stakeholders to promote and support the Remote Services Program objectives.
  • Update and maintain Stakeholder Engagement Plan(s) ensuring cultural and community appropriate content is addressed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Considerable experience in trade operations or project management
  • Relevant knowledge and experience engaging with Aboriginal communities, people and organisations.
