Team and Role Overview
We at Nasdaq have a phenomenal opportunity for creative, curious, solution-minded individuals. In this role you will play a key role in redefining Cloud Operations project delivery function by accepting Agile project management approach. This is a chance to define the project delivery methodologies and metrics from the ground up in a quick pace dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate all Scrum events, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, ensuring they are effective and time-bound
- Support the operations team in achieving their Sprint goals by removing impediments, encouraging a self-organizing team, and ensuring that the team follows the Scrum framework
- Collaborate with the Operations team management to maintain and refine the Ticket Backlog, ensuring that it is accurately prioritized and ready for Sprint Planning
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas where the team can improve its processes, efficiency, and quality of work
- Proactively identify and handle risks and issues that could impact the successful delivery of the Sprint and work with the team to mitigate them
- Maintain and report on Agile metrics and team progress, helping the organization supervise and understand its performance
- Provide mentorship and coaching to principles and practices, encouraging a deep understanding of Agile methodologies
- Act as a liaison the operations team and collaborators, ensuring visibility, open communication, and alignment with business goals.
- Address impediments within the team or with external parties in a constructive manner, promoting collaboration and resolution.
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Scrum-related certification
- A minimum of 8 years of work experience in Agile SaaS software delivery, with at least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Understanding of software development processes, Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and PowerBI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and convey complex ideas effectively
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Demonstrated leadership and servant leadership skills
- The ability to adapt to changing situations and facilitate a team's response to evolving requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- A commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and the success of the development team across the globe
- A willingness to stay current with the latest Agile and Scrum practices and methodologies
