Position Title: Program Manager/ Product Manager

Brief description: Manage the Product Development for a suite of software products for a Fortune 500 Manufacturing client.

Work Location: Chennai

Employment: Full time

Experience level: 15+ years, of which at least 5+ years of experience in Project Management.

Key responsibilities:

Envisioning- Collaborate with the Go-to-Market lead, do market research and develop the product strategy and value proposition.
Roadmap development & backlog grooming- Translate product strategy into a roadmap and convert that to a backlog comprising of epics, sub epics and user stories.
Resource management- Iteration planning, Work allocation and monitoring, by collaborating with the team leaders.
Stakeholder engagement- Run the Quarterly PI planning session, bi-weekly iteration planning and daily stands-ups with the customer and team. Leverage these forums effectively to groom the backlog, review KPIs, discuss systemic issues and recommend improvement actions.
Develop high performing team- Be the culture champion and lead by example to develop a winning team.

Required skills:

At least 5+ years of experience in leading teams of 15-20 members in a complex, fast-paced product development environment for cloud-based applications.
Hands-on experience in Agile development methodology and proficient in using Jira to manage the product backlog.
Demonstrate good understanding of various components of the Tech stack for cloud-native applications.
Ability to progressively detail abstract ideas, with minimal supervision.
Highly proficient in making Impactful presentations to middle management at the client side.
Excellent Communication, Collaboration and Negotiation skills.
