Role Description

• The Corporate Bank (CB) Technology Production organisation strives to ensure our IT environment is stable, reliable and proactively managed to prevent issues and minimize impact should they occur.
• Reporting into the Project Manager, the Project and Change Specialist will be a proactive self-starter and an excellent problem solver who is comfortable dealing with complexity and working to tight deadlines, with project management skillset and experience or equivalent, transferable skills.
• You will liaise with stakeholders across all the CB Technology Production domains and you will be supporting the Project Manager with delivery of key strategic initiatives, including large scale transformational projects such as the build out of the Technical Operations Centre and integration of service transition for effective on-boarding of applications into Production service.

Your key responsibilities

• Supporting delivery of key strategic initiatives, including large scale transformational projects such as the build out of the Technical Operations Centre and integration of service transition for effective on-boarding of applications into Production service.
• Collaborate effectively across all Production Domains to support the definition of the required delivery plan and milestones for these initiatives.
• Effective and proactive tracking of all risks, issues & dependencies.
• Support all aspects of programme and project governance including benefits case definition and tracking of regular status reporting as well as creation of materials for steering and working group forums.

Your skills and experience

• Experience of project management for IT enabled business change projects preferred
• Background in IT in large corporate environments within the Financial Services industry, within which experience working within the area of controlled production environments would be highly beneficial.
• ITIL / best practice service context (ITIL Foundation Certificate preferred).
• Technical skills: Expertise in Microsoft 365 suite is a necessity (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Word); experience of Clarity project portfolio management software highly beneficial.
• Capabilities: Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong proactive mindset and the ability to effectively communicate with and positively influence diverse stakeholders and team members
