Program Officer: Operations & Training Management [CREST]

Position Details:

• The ideal candidate will support the Program Manager in implementing various Operations & Training Management and administrative initiatives to implement and sustain the CoE CREST.
• The person will liaison with various user groups (internal and external), operations and engineering teams, and other stakeholders.
• The person will also work closely with all the stakeholders to ensure compliance with all Laboratory policies, and guidelines.

Duties and responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cleanroom equipment while maintaining safety and contamination control.
• Control and optimize cleanroom parameters to ensure reproducible fabrication processes.
• Design and execute experiments for device fabrication, including semiconductor structures, MEMS components, microfluidic chips, and hybrid devices.
• Develop and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance.
• Record, analyze, and interpret experimental data for publications, patents, and reports.
• Collaborate with faculty and peers in interdisciplinary research projects.
• Support facility operations: equipment scheduling, consumables management, training.
• Contribute to workshops, project demonstrations, and outreach activities.

Educational Qualification

• ME /MTech in a related Engineering domain.
• Strong interest in device fabrication and cleanroom-based research.
• Prior cleanroom or micro/nanofabrication experience desirable (not mandatory).
• Familiarity with simulation tools (not mandatory).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable: Experience to develop and work in Semiconductor Clean room

Remuneration: 7-9 Lakhs annual CTC (based on experience including target-based performance incentives).
