About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As a member of Solutions Enablement team you will work with cross-functional partner teams to identify top user pain points, translate them into business requirements, help prioritize participating business needs, align executive audiences to gain buy-in, and influence first-party and third-party product roadmaps to ensure governance across Google’s global suite of hardware and software products. You will balance Google’s legal, regulatory and compliance requirements with our users’ needs, and our company’s values. This role will be responsible for interfacing directly with product, engineering, executive leadership, and other cross-functional teams on a continuous basis and will allow you to build the future of the Global Affairs solutions and technology ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of first-party and third-party tech and process implementations, from definition to delivery, collaborating with stakeholders, providers, and engineering teams.
- Define and implement program design structures for efficient execution. Oversee supporting communication plans, program charters, tracking, and reporting to ensure outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of tooling and solution goals, strategy and roadmap for Global Affairs stakeholders in partnership with engineering teams such as Legal and Risk Engineering, Privacy, Safety and Security.
- Manage the client pipeline and align cross-functional stakeholders and partners towards opportunities and challenges, assisting leadership with continuous and annual planning exercises by clearly communicating business needs and priorities to secure engineering and business resource commitments.
- Design, implement, and maintain system configurations, including rule configuration and contract template creation.
