Whats exciting about this role?

You will be leading a first-of-its-kind program in India the Future Ready Naari Fellowship , a 12-month immersive leadership and career-accelerating program for extraordinary young women from restrictive backgrounds. Unlike conventional program management roles where the focus is largely on administrative aspects - here you will design exposures & experiences, be a mentor and collaborate with key stakeholders together with whom we will open aspirational pathways for our future ready naaris.

About Nimaya Foundation

Co-founded by Navya Nanda and Samyak Chakrabarty, Nimaya is a future-ready not-for-profit that empowers young women from socio-economic barriers to thrive in the future of work. We are on a mission to ensure our naaris have an edge in leveraging AI at work instead of being at risk of being replaced by it. Through our flagship programs GenAI Ready Naari and Creator Naari we equip our learners with 21st-century skills, real-world exposure, and the confidence to pursue meaningful career pathways. To date, 6,000+ Nimaya Naaris across 4 states have benefited from our interventions. Our work is supported by partnerships with leading institutions, including the Government of Indias- YuvaAI Mission.

About the Future Ready Naari Fellowship you will lead

Under the mentorship of Former Dell Foundation Head Geeta Goel, Nimaya is now building the Future Ready Naari Fellowship, a deeply immersive, year-long journey for high-potential Naaris from underserved communities. The fellowship offers exposure to new-age careers, emerging industries, powerful tools, and access to aspirational opportunities, with one clear intent to shift mindsets from merely finding a job to building a life of growth, agency, and choice. Fellows gain real-world wisdom, future-of-work skills, GenAI fundamentals, and hands on experience through industry capstone projects opening up worlds their formal education often never showed them. Each fellow is mentored 1:1 by senior women professionals who expand their sense of what is possible, not just what feels immediately attainable.

Every Future ready Naari graduates into a meaningful role in a new-age enterprise emerging not only as a capable professional, but as a role model. Someone who proves that aspirations like limitation, can be inherited and rewritten.

Background

• 12 years of experience in Client servicing/BD/Partnership roles, Program Management or any role that involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders. We are open to non-development sector backgrounds too!
• Proven leadership roles and/or hands-on experience in community or social impact projects during school or college
• Strong interest in leadership development, learning design, and youth mentorship
• Excellent written and verbal communication (English + Hindi)
• Comfortable with hybrid work and field visits
• Proficient with Google Suite, Canva, and digital tools

Your core responsibilities

• Invite applications and interest amongst target group to apply for the fellowship
• Design and lead elements of the immersive experience such as capstones, industry projects and masterclasses
• Manage key stakeholder relationships
• Build 1-1 relationship with each Future ready Naari part of a cohort (not exceeding 15 at a given time) to enable deeply personalised transformation journeys
• Enabling Future ready naaris to build v-logs about the progress to motivate more in their peer groups/communities to build dreams beyond just survival
• Impact reporting
• Partnering with the orgs admin & operations team to ensure seamless program monitoring and execution
