Job Purpose

Responsible for all operations at a Diammonium Phosphate (DAP)/NP/NPKs fertilizer production operation.

Core Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate daily plant operations across production, utilities, maintenance, and quality functions to meet volume, cost, and quality target.

To ensure the target plant efficiencies are achieved for all products by daily process parameter analysis and Optimization

Ensuring statutory compliance with respect to plant operations

Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, shutdown planning, and ensure spare-parts availability to minimize the downtime

Exploring avenues for improvement in plant performance

Ensuring and achieving targeted production and despatch of the different product grades of DAP/NPK

Deployment of manpower to ensure smooth & safe operation

Close monitoring of shutdown & start up activities

Ensuring availability of Pollution Control Equipment & Personnel Protective Equipment

Analyse Accidents & Environmental Monitoring Data and take Corrective and Preventive Actions to prevent reoccurrence

Driving Initiatives, Training and Timely Audit points closure

Carry out activities as laid down in IMS Manuals & Procedural Manual for IMS

Proficient in SAP & DCS operation

Good knowledge of product quality as per FCO norms
