Product Specialist (Stdcell/Library Characterization)

This job position is with the Product Specialist team in the CIC R&D group at Siemens EDA. We are looking for a Library characterization Product Specialist to be the technical interface to design engineers and managers on our key customer engagements. As a Library characterization Product Specialist your primary responsibility will be to support the technical development and deployment of our characterization solutions for standard cells and I/Os. You will be handling a wide range of technical issues, from spice simulations to advanced modelling of timing, noise and variation, working closely with our world-class field applications and engineering teams to improve the accuracy, performance, and ease-of-use of our characterization solutions.

• Drive high ROI technical engagements and initiatives with our top tier customers.
• Interface with the field team and the customer to understand technical requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering to develop methodologies and solutions.
• Create technical presentations and documents to highlight product value proposition.
• Directly engage with the customer to deploy tools and solutions.
• Debug technical issues that block engagement and deployment.
• Generate technical collateral, application notes, and training materials.
• File bug reports/improvements and work closely with R&D to resolve them.
• Focus on technical and customer success to help drive business growth.

Key Knowledge, Skills :

• We are seeking candidates with a Bachelors/Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with minimum 5-8 Years of work experience.
• We need someone who has hands-on experience with industry-standard characterization tools and SPICE simulators for nanometer analog designs!
• We expect a strong understanding of .libs (CCS timing/noise/power/variability), standard cell/I/O characterization, and validation methodologies.
• Familiarity with ASIC design flow, STA basics, and EDA design environments (Unix), along with proficiency in TCL scripting.
• We value self-motivated individuals capable of working independently with minimal direction, handling customer engagements and technical issues optimally.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly, share knowledge, and collaborate with global, remote teams.
• Flexible and willing to travel to customer sites as needed.
