Product Development Executive Desi Minimals

Desi Minimals is a D2C men's clothing brand built around comfort, minimalism, and real Indian life. We make clothes people actually live in, and we're growing fast.

We're looking for a sharp, process-oriented Product Development Executive to join us in Kolkata. This is a hands-on role sitting at the heart of how our products come to life.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be working directly with the founder, owning the execution side of product development. This means maintaining sample trackers, coordinating with vendors, building and updating tech packs, tracking cost sheets, managing trim and label inventory, and making sure the QC team always has what they need. You won't be making final calls on fabric or vendors yet but you'll be the person who does all the groundwork that makes those decisions possible.

You're a fit if:

• You're a fresher or have up to 2 years of experience, with a degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or Merchandising (NIFT, Pearl, or equivalent)
• You had a solid internship - ideally at a garment manufacturer, buying house, export house, or apparel brand.
• You know your way around a tech pack, understand fabric basics (composition, GSM, weave), and can build a cost sheet in a spreadsheet
• You're organised, proactive, and don't need to be chased
• You care about getting details right
• You genuinely like making clothes - not just the aesthetics, but how they're made

What this is not:

This is not a design role. If you want to create mood boards and sketch silhouettes, this isn't the right fit. If you want to understand how a product goes from idea to shelf and build real operational depth, this is exactly that.
