Role: Design Engineer Vehicle Integration

Location: Jaipur/Pune

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech

Industry: Construction Equipment / Heavy Machinery / Industrial Equipment

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Integration Concept to Final Design for MEWP machines

Maintain vehicle layout & machine aggregates integration

Design of Welded Structures, Sheet Metal Parts & Assemblies

Component selection, feature addition & product improvements

Resolve field issues through design modifications

Drive BOM cost reduction through VA/VE initiatives

Prepare Design Release Plans & PFEP tracking

Conduct Design Reviews, Digital Mockups & Concept Presentations

Coordinate with Structures, Hydraulics, Electrical & Engine Integration teams

Support Prototype builds, Testing & Engineering Sign-off

Work closely with Quality, Purchasing & Manufacturing teams

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Vehicle Integration & Layout Design

Expertise in UG NX, Teamcenter, PLM

Knowledge of Hydraulics, Electrical systems & Machine subsystems

Strong Drawing, GD&T & Design Detailing skills

Understanding of Manufacturing Processes Sheet Metal, Machining, Heat Treatment

Knowledge of BOM Management & Design Release Process

Good Analytical, Communication & Cross-functional collaboration skills
