Strong knowledge of 5C engine components and their associated manufacturing processes
Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance production methods and efficiency
Hands-on experience in crankshaft and camshaft machining processes, including grinding, induction hardening, and related operations
Optimize manufacturing processes to achieve improved efficiency, productivity, and product quality
Identify and resolve manufacturing issues, implement continuous process improvements, and drive operational excellence
Maintain detailed documentation of processes, equipment, and quality control procedures; generate reports on process performance and KPIs
Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards, and conduct risk assessments as required
Analyse production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and estimate costs for new processes, tooling, or equipment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Production, and Maintenance) to ensure smooth process integration and successful new product introductions (NPI)
Apply statistical quality control (SQC/SPC) techniques to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior engineers, operators, and technicians
Develop and modify CNC machine part programs to support manufacturing requirements
