Principal IT Project Management (AI , Data Analytics )

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• 10 - 15 Years of project management experience, preferably in AI & data analytics environments
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities

Technical Skills:

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, and deployment considerations
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana)
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and IT infrastructure concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
• Experience with AI/ML project lifecycle management
• Background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
• Previous experience in technology consulting or transformation roles

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

• Manage multiple AI projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Provide program support to AI Hub (India) initiatives, acting as a key coordination resource
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, business stakeholders, and IT operations
• Maintain comprehensive project schedules and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders
• Facilitate project kick-offs, status meetings, and post-implementation reviews
• Screen incoming AI project requests using fundamental AI/ML knowledge to assess feasibility and resource requirements
• Work with AI Hub (India) team leadership on project prioritization based on technical complexity, business impact, and resource availability
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper scoping and realistic timeline development
• Support business case development with technical insights and delivery estimates
• Support the implementation of standardized workflows to accelerate AI project execution from ideation to deployment
• Establish governance frameworks that balance speed with quality and compliance requirements
• Create repeatable methodologies that can scale across diverse AI use cases
• Continuously evaluate and refine processes based on project outcomes and industry best practices
