Job Description
Responsibilities
Installation, configuration, troubleshooting of Linux servers 6,7 RHEL, Centos, OUL
Responsible for patching Linux servers using yum and resolving issues in Patching
General OS troubleshooting skills Performance, log analysis, disk related issues, alert remediations
Extensive hands-on on bash or other scripting for automation
Knowledge of SFTP and basic network troubleshooting.
Knowledge of tomcat and basic troubleshooting Java basics, tomcat performance parameters
Hands-on on AWS Able to spin up EC2, patching in AWS, SSM, security groups, disk expansions in AWS using AWS tools.
Experienced in supporting day-to-day operational issues and runtime operations
Able to communicate complex topics to stakeholders.
Has a basic hands-on on VMware Able to do snapshots, migration, resource additions etc
Basic knowledge of Ansible/puppet needed (Able to troubleshoot puppet run time issues and ansible deployment failures)
Vulnerability management and maintaining security
Able to use ITIL process and ticketing tools (Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus)
