Power BI Engineer

Job Role : Power BI Engineer +5 years

Location : Hyderabad

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable dashboards, data models, and insight-driven reports. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and data warehousing concepts, and be comfortable working closely with business stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Build and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query
• Work with large datasets from multiple sources such as SQL, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms
• Ensure report performance, data accuracy, and security (Row Level Security RLS)
• Translate business requirements into effective analytical and reporting solutions
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business teams
• Perform data validation, testing, deployment, and documentation

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling
• Advanced SQL skills (joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Service, gateways, and scheduled refresh
• Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
