About the Role

Our client is seeking a PostgreSQL Database Administrator (1-4 years of experience) to join their team . This full-time on-site position will involve database administration, installation, configuration, backup & recovery, and basic performance tuning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on production support experience and be ready to contribute to the database management efforts of the organization.

Job Location

PAN India (Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai) - Candidates can choose to work from any one of these locations.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.

Install, configure, and upgrade PostgreSQL database systems.

Perform regular backups and recovery operations to safeguard data integrity.

Conduct basic performance tuning and optimization of database queries.

Provide hands-on production support and troubleshoot database issues.

Collaborate with development teams to optimize database interactions.

Participate in database security management and compliance activities.

Required Skills

1-4 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration.

Proficient in database installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Experience with backup and recovery strategies for PostgreSQL.
