Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced PLM Teamcenter Senior Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable Teamcenter solutions aligned with business requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Teamcenter architecture, BMIDE configuration, ITK development, SOA services, Active Workspace customization, and enterprise integrations.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep customization experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Essential Skills (Mandatory)

1. Teamcenter Core & Architecture

• Strong understanding of Teamcenter data model (Item, Item Revision, Dataset, BOM, Workflow).
• Experience with Teamcenter modules: Web Tier, Server Manager, TCCS, BMIDE, TcRA, IMM, FMS, Dispatcher Services.
• Knowledge of access control, AM rule tree, and ACL configuration.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale Teamcenter environments.

2. BMIDE Configuration & Customization

• Business object modeling and extensions.
• Property creation (persistent, compound, runtime, table).
• GRM relations and naming rules.
• Static and dynamic LOV configuration.
• Workflow template design and configuration.
• Deployment using TEM / Deployment Center.
• Understanding of typed vs untyped references.

3. ITK Development (C/C++)

• Server-side customization using ITK.
• Object creation and property manipulation using AOM APIs.
• Implementation of:
• Pre-Action
• Post-Action
• Pre-Condition extensions
• Custom workflow handlers (Rule & Action).
• Error handling and memory management.
• Performance-aware coding practices.

4. SOA & Integration

• Development of custom SOA services.
• Integration with ERP (SAP preferred), CAD/ECAD/MCAD systems.
• PLMXML configuration and transformations.
• Data migration and reconciliation.
• Understanding of Teamcenter integration architecture.

5. Active Workspace (AWC)

• XRT configuration and customization.
• UI command configuration.
• Custom sublocations and panels.
• Integration of custom services into AWC.

6. Programming & Tools

• Strong proficiency in:
• C++
• Java
• ITK
• SOA frameworks
• Experience with Query Builder.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Code version control and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and develop Teamcenter customizations.
• Configure workflows, product structures, and change management processes.
• Develop ITK extensions and custom handlers.
• Integrate Teamcenter with external enterprise systems.
• Perform unit testing and peer reviews.
• Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 production support.
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter development and customization.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise PLM implementations preferred.
