Job Description
Performance Engineer eCommerce Technology
We are looking for a skilled Performance Engineer to enhance the speed, stability, and scalability of our web and mobile commerce platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless experiences for large-scale traffic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests.
- Evaluate results, identify system bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
- Conduct release-level performance validation before production deployment.
- Optimize application code, APIs, databases, caching, CDN, and server configurations.
- Monitor production systems using APM tools and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Perform capacity planning based on growth trends and peak traffic forecasts.
- Embed performance best practices within the SDLC and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills
- Experience with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or Gatling.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell, or Groovy scripting.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, Web Vitals, and modern web technologies.
- Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes.
