Job Description
Role Overview
Technical Skills (Mandatory):
PeopleSoft Domains: Mandatory knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS/HCM.
PeopleTools: Deep expertise in PeopleTools 8.5x.
Development Tools: Proficiency in: PeopleCode.
Application Engine.
Application Package.
Component Interface (CI).
Integration Broker (including API, SOAP, WSDL).
BI Publisher / XML Publisher.
Database: Strong knowledge of SQL (Oracle or MSSQL) for complex queries and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities :
Development & Support: Developing, testing, and deploying new software system components and providing ongoing maintenance for existing programs.
Integrations: Creating XML interfaces to other systems and third-party vendors using Integration Broker.
Upgrades & Patches: Applying PeopleSoft bundles, fixes, and patches, and performing technical tasks related to PeopleSoft upgrades.
Documentation: Translating business requirements into technical specifications and creating documents like High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD).
Collaboration: Participating in Scrum/Agile ceremonies and working closely with Business Analysts and QA teams for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
