Experience: 8 + years
Design, develop, implement, and maintain core Oracle DB and associated applications.
Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, performance tuning, clones, patches, and upgrade the DB and Oracle EBS applications version 11 or above for effective business operations and administration.
Must have Oracle Application Manager (OAM) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) experience.
Must have experience with Cloud (OCI) migrations (DB and/or APPS).
Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle EBS v 11 or above application administration, including installation, configuration, cloning, and upgrades, using Oracle EBS R12 Applications DBA (AD) utilities and other tools to apply patches and system updates.
Maintain SQL / PLSQL processes and ensure DB availability.
Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controls.
Actively seek to optimize and simplify DB architecture and take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB.
Execution of data migration jobs and scripts as required.
Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware used for the DB.
Create a reliable backup strategy.
Ensure database backups are appropriately executed and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality.
Determine and document DB policies, procedures and standards.
Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy and integrity.
Identification of bottle necks and deadlock issues.
Ensure SLA's & operational KPIs are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur.
