Communal is a fast-growing skincare startup focused on creating science-backed, high-performance skincare products. We are looking for a passionate NPD Executive who can drive new product development from concept to launch and collaborate closely with formulation labs, manufacturers, packaging vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end new product development lifecycle from concept to launch

Research skincare ingredients, formulations, and beauty trends

Coordinate with formulation labs and third-party manufacturers

Oversee packaging development (primary & secondary)

Ensure regulatory compliance and product documentation

Coordinate product testing, stability testing, and consumer trials

Work with marketing and e-commerce teams for successful product launches

Conduct competitor and market research to identify innovation opportunities

Requirements

35 years experience in NPD for skincare / cosmetics / personal care

Experience working with formulation labs and cosmetic manufacturers

Strong understanding of skincare ingredients and industry trends

Experience managing product development timelines and vendors

Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred

Experience with D2C or e-commerce beauty brands

Knowledge of Indian cosmetic regulatory requirements

Experience launching skincare products in the market
