Node.js Backend Developer (AWS | Microservices | DynamoDB | REST APIs)

Role: Node.js Developer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: Long term

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Work Hours: IST

Location: Hybrid - 2days onsite/week Gurgaon, India

Were looking for a Node.js Developer to support the Cargo Commercial Technology team, building cloud-native, scalable backend APIs and microservices. This role is central to our digital transformation initiatives, enhancing self-service capabilities and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Node.js
• Build REST-based microservices and serverless architectures
• Integrate and optimize AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
• Maintain code quality using Git/SVN and follow best practices
• Enhance and scale applications for performance and reliability

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js development and backend APIs
• 5+ years hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices, serverless architectures
• Experience with NoSQL databases, especially DynamoDB
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and Agile practices

Nice to Have:

• Python, Java, Angular, Express.js, Next.js
• Docker/containerization experience
