New Product Development Manager

Glimpse of job description:

1. Creates, manages and leads the new product development for C&P (Cosmetics & perfumery) division.
2. Ensure successive rollouts of new products, to achieve growth targets.
3. Collaborates cross-functionally to implement new product development and drives Customer expectations.
4. Provides leadership and support for clients, sales, design, Manufacturing and implementation of new products.
5. Initiate new products to meet customer needs.
6. Planning & monitoring new product development cycle from enquiry to customer acceptance of products.
7. Identify & work with manufacturing for Product & Process improvements.
8. Support Sales & marketing teams for introductory market programs to introduce new products.
9. Lead status meetings to drive programs or new product initiatives with clients, partners & cross functional team.
10. Periodically presents project updates to the leadership team.
11. Understanding of business operations and procedures.
12. Develop, maintain, and update new product development / Concept to Customer / process, to ensure a group of new concepts / products are available to be introduced and commercialized on an annual basis to include:
13. Ideation Capture
14. Funnel to Focus.
15. Stage Gate Management
16. Performance Evaluation.
17. Ensure key learnings and best practice are documented and shared institutionally.
18. Maintain ongoing communication with Marketing, Design, Tooling, Manufacturing and Engineering to insure a thorough understanding of emerging new customer expectations, new glass packaging concepts, Glass decoration, packaging, and manufacturing technology. Incorporate this learning into new product development process.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

1. Experience in New Product Management in Manufacturing Industry / Packaging Industry / Glass Industry.
2. Knowledge of Manufacturing Process, Moulds / Tooling, Glass Bottle Manufacturing & Decoration process.
3. Experience in Project management, Planning & Execution.
4. Leadership experience, managing cross functional team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Research and analytical abilities.

Essential Qualifications Required:

Graduation in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering + Post Graduation in Project Management.
