Job Title: Head New Product Innovation & Lab Head (Proprietary Foods)

Location: Khar, Mumbai | On-site

We are a fast-growing proprietary foods company developing innovative formulations in our in-house R&D lab and scaling them with trusted third-party manufacturers. We are looking for a seasoned NPD Leader to drive our innovation pipeline, lead lab operations, and bring breakthrough products to life.

What You Will Do:

Lead end-to-end New Product Development: ideation formulation scale-up.

Build and manage the innovation pipeline across proprietary food categories.

Oversee lab formulation, sensory evaluation, stability and version control.

Manage technology transfer and trials at third-party manufacturing units.

Ensure full FSSAI compliance and documentation readiness.

Collaborate with marketing, procurement, operations & quality teams.

Manage suppliers, ingredients, and manufacturing partners.

Lead and mentor a small R&D team.

What Were Looking For:

Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Biotech.

34 years experience in NPD in proprietary foods category.

Strong experience working with third-party manufacturers.

Deep knowledge of FSSAI regulations & documentation.

Creative problem-solver with strong project and vendor management.
