What Youll Do

Lead NPD from idea to launch across toys/play and home-lifestyle

Research trends, competitors, materials, and pricing

Source vendors in India/China, manage sampling, negotiate costs

Evaluate materials across wood, plastics, coatings, adhesives and FMCG-adjacent categories

Build PRDs, run testing, and ensure basic quality checks

Coordinate with design, marketing, and ops for packaging, shoots, and launches

Own timelines, QC, documentation, and SKU lifecycle

Drive product-market fit decisions based on D2C, Amazon, and consumer insights

Who You Are

26 years in NPD, category management, sourcing, or brand/NPD hybrid roles

Hands-on experience launching physical products end-to-end

Strong research ability and comfort working with manufacturers

Understanding of D2C fundamentals: pricing, margins, packaging weight, logistics

Aesthetic sense and high attention to detail

Tools: Google Sheets, Notion, basic Figma/Canva

Bonus

Experience in toys, stationery, home, lifestyle, or FMCG

Exposure to Amazon launches or A+ content

Vendor/factory networks in India or China
