Job Description

Role : Engineer - NPD & VD (New Product Development & Vendor Development)

Function : Supply Chain Management

Work Location : Vadodara, Gujarat

If you are an Energetic, Passionate person having excellent knowledge of the New Product Development and Vendor Development Lifecycle & having experience in Strategic sourcing, Tooling, Costing and Prototyping than this is an excellent opportunity to shape the future of Mechanical Procurement.

Experience : 2+ Years

Qualification : B.E/B.tech/M.E/ M.tech (Mechanical)

Technical Skill Set Required

PMT: Manage product costs (R&D, materials, manufacturing), margins (CM1), specifications, lifecycle volumes, and product investments.

R&D: Drive part selection/reuse, prototyping, innovation, benchmarking, new material integration, and manage time-to-market.

Vendor: Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate vendors, and finalize commercial agreements.

Manufacturing: Lead technology transfer, production support, cost and lead-time reduction, quality improvement, and adopt best manufacturing practices.

VAVE: Identify value engineering opportunities, lead cost reduction initiatives, benchmark industry leaders, and integrate best practices into products.
