About the Role

The Gurukulam School, Varanasi is seeking a warm, patient, and nurturing Mother Teacher (NTT) to support the holistic development of children in the pre-primary section. The ideal candidate will create a safe, joyful, and engaging learning environment that supports young learners emotional, social, and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a motherly guide for children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities based on the pre-primary curriculum.
• Foster development in language, motor, cognitive, social, and emotional skills.
• Maintain classroom discipline through positive reinforcement and care.
• Observe and assess each childs progress and share feedback with parents.
• Encourage good habits, manners, hygiene, and values among students.
• Organize storytelling, rhymes, games, art & craft, and play-based learning activities.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and learning materials.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff for events and activities.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• NTT / D.El.Ed / Diploma in Early Childhood Education (mandatory).
• Graduate (preferred).
• Minimum 13 years of experience as a Mother Teacher / NTT (freshers with strong skills may also apply).
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Patient, caring, and child-friendly personality.
