Monitoring And Evaluation Project Manager

Going to School is looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Lead with 710 years of experience, based in Bengaluru. This role needs someone who is equally strong on systems and on the ground, someone who can assess outcomes honestly, verify data independently, and spend time in the field across Bengaluru to check what is being reported against what is actually happening.

You must be fluent in Kannada and English, and comfortable working closely with communities, programme teams, and leadership. You will lead our MEL approach end to end: designing indicators and tools, setting up strong verification processes, building credible case studies and evidence, and producing clear donor reports and management updates. This is a role for someone who can turn data into insight, and insight into better decisions, without hiding behind jargon.

A strong gender lens is non-negotiable. You should be able to bring rigour to how we measure gender-related outcomes and how we document lived experience, with care, ethics, and accuracy.

Were also looking for strong technical capability. You should have hands-on experience with research and assessment tools and software (for example KoBoToolbox/ODK, Google Suite, Excel, dashboards, basic quantitative and qualitative analysis tools), and be confident setting up clean workflows for data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting.
